Company’s Turnaround Highlighted

DBP Leasing Corporation (DBPLC) held the blessing of its new office on April 27, 2016 at the 4th floor, East Wing of the DBP Head Office. Father Elias Manlangit, OFM, officiated the blessing.

Cutting of the ribbon was led by DBPLC Chairman Alberto A. Lim and DBP Chairman Jose A. Nuñez Jr.  Witnessing the ceremony were DBPLC President & CEO Danilo T. Reyes, DBPLC Directors Vaughn F. Montes, Mario B. Palou, and Dennis D. Decena. Senior Officers of DBP also graced the affair. A lunch reception followed at the Training Room B.

DBPLC Chair Albert A. Lim lauded the DBPLC senior management for the company’s remarkable growth and positive transformation. Chairman Lim mentioned that for the first time since 2012, DBPLC’s audited net income for 2015 showed a positive    ₱ 25.78 million, while its credit portfolio grew by 151% from PHP 735M (2014) to PHP 1.85B (2015).  He also praised the company for its  successfully disposal of six of its ten repossessed vessels, thus ridding DBP Leasing of a substantial amount of costly  maintenance expenses.

In an earlier speech, Mr. Danilo T. Reyes thanked the DBPLC Directors and the DBP Senior Management for having been fully supportive of DBP Leasing’s  plans and strategies that enabled the subsidiary to transform itself into a worthy and valuable member of the DBP family. He likewise thanked his DBPLC team members for their vigor and dedication in making DBPLC “A New Force in Leasing”.
