JIANN CARLO S. JARAMILLIO
RISK AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Mr. Jaramillo holds the position of Risk and Compliance Officer and is a member of DBP Leasing Corporation’s Executive Group. He is a graduate of San Beda College Alabang with a Bachelor in Science in Business Administration – Majoring in Financial Management. He was formerly employed by HSBC Data Processing Philippines as an Assistant Manager of Direct Custody and Clearing – Corporate Actions Australia. He has had 7 years work experience with a specialization in the Research and Announcement of Corporate Events specifically with the Australian Stock Exchange.
Mr. Jaramillo was sent along with his team members to HSBC Data Processing Malaysia for training in Corporate Actions for 7 months during the year of 2024 from the latter half of January to the first half of August. Mr. Jaramillo was also a member of HSBC SPARKS (companywide engagement team) wherein he resolved to plan, host, and facilitate events created to enrich and entertain HSBC employees. As a natural recourse Mr. Jaramillo is also a member of their own internal Corporate Actions Engagement Team.
Mr. Jaramillo as part of the pioneer group for HDPP Direct Custody and Clearing - Australia and near the end of his tenure the most experienced and the most tenured member has hands on experience with Training and Managing new employees, handling various projects within and out of the team, and lastly has expertise in determining, announcing, and investigating various complex corporate actions such as Bonus Issues, Exercise of Options, Mergers and Takeovers, Placements.
