Director Choachuy is a serial entrepreneur who took this calling to serve the government as a first-time director and a chance to give back to the country. He finished his Bachelor’s Degree major in Industrial Engineering with a minor in chemical engineering at De La Salle University. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Franchising from H. Wayne Huzienga School of Business and Entrepreneurship.
He has been in the field of petroleum industry for more than 20 years and operates a cluster of gasoline stations and an auto independent workshop which specializes in quick service repairs. As part of this excellence in the field of retailing, he has been awarded four international awards (2 gold and 2 high silver) representing the top 1% of the Best Global Retailers in Italy and Turkey.
He also has interest in the field of food retailing, operating restaurants and kiosks for more than 15 years which popularly serves local street foods, Cebu delicacies, milk tea and even some international foreign franchises. In the course of his journey in the food sector he is a recipient of numerous awards such as "Go Negosyo Young Entrepreneurs Award" in 2010 and "Entrepreneurs Magazine Fastest Growing Franchise" in 2012. He also endorses his business partners as being a brand ambassador for Globe Telecom, SM Hypermarket, and Chinoy TV.
